Announcements:
  • Annual gala event will be held at the Delta on Friday, June 19th. If interested in helping to plan the event, please contact Stephen Turnbull and attend the next planning meeting Jan. 30th 5:30 pm at M&T Bank.
  • Rotarians will be getting together Sunday Feb 19th 2 pm on the stage for a Utica City Football Club (soccer) game. Tickets, to include food, will be available for purchase soon.
What Have You Done to make Rotary Proud:

  • Jerry visited the Port St. Lucie Rotary in Florida. Many of their members’ roots can be traced back to CNY. They presented him with a flag and we will send one in return. President Joe presented him with the Rotarian of the month (Dec) award.
 
Program:
James and Ellen Smith presented on their trip to India when they returned home with their son Erik, our outbound 2018-2019 youth exchange student. They had some great pictures and spoke of the way of travel in India, explained some temples and the importance of their National Anthem. Their trip was mainly planned by Eric and two other exchange students who joined them on it.
