imageimageCONGRATULATIONS to Stephen Turnbull, Rotary Club of Utica’s first-named Rotarian of the Month.  In addition to chairing last month’s successful Pin Down Polio fundraiser and the Adopt-a-Highway cleanup, serving on the membership, youth exchange and public relations committees, developing an end-of-Rotary year-gala (to be announced), and serving as club vice president, in his spare time, Stephen has been active this past month in the Real Men Wear Pink campaign to raise funds for breast cancer research.  As the award reads, Stephen personifies the Rotary motto of Service Above Self.  Well done, Rotarian!

THIS WEEK, we’re having a Club Assembly! Come to lunch at the Yahnundasis and hear your fellow Utica Rotarians talk about the projects in store for the coming months. (Please see yellow RSVP at the top of this newsletter and reply today!). Another great opportunity to bring a guest, and SHARE ROTARY!  See you there!

LAST WEEK, we welcomed fellow Rotarian and past president of the North Utica-Whitestown Rotary Club, Steve Karboski, partner in McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, who spoke to us about the importance of funeral pre-planning. Thank you, Steve, for a poignant reminder.
