Local Rotary Clubs recently honored six high school teachers for exemplyiing "Service Above Self". The honorees are: Megan Cappadonia (Proctor), Elizabeth Cissi (New Hartford), Melody Morris (Whitesboro), Tim Papienuk (New York Mills), Dwight Putnam (Notre Dame), and Kathleen Washburn (Clinton).
 
 
The Rotary Club of Utica is sponsoring Quarantine Adventures to help support the Mohawk Valley COVID-19 Fund. People who buy Rotary's "New York Tough" shirts or hoodies can enter a photo of themselves wearing the apparel in the Quarantine Adventures Contest. The key to winning prizes is entering an attention-getting photo.
 
In an effort to support the Mohawk Valley COVID-19 Fund, The Rotary Club of Utica is selling its “NEW YORK TOUGH” t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, and hoodies. The fund is a joint venture between The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties, Inc. and the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica.
